I first learned about blogs when I started my degree in 2003. Like most of the other students at the time, I didn’t pay them the attention they deserved. Today, I feel bad for the people that aren’t at least tapped in to the wealth of opportunity offered by the blogosphere.
No Ordinary Rollercoaster started as part of a writing course. My professor rightly assumed that using a blog to showcase classwork would encourage better quality and commitment from his students. I agree whole-heartedly. The original pieces I wrote for the class are still available as the very first posts in the archives.
These days, my blog remains a mishmash of my thoughts, experiences, interests and adventures as a young professional. Ideally, a blog has a single theme and sticks to it in order to relate to its audience.
I am passionate about far too many things to pick just one and so are most of my readers. From public relations and marketing, to technology, to local news, to times when my spokesdog is driving me nuts (notably the most read post to date)...it’s all up there and is being ready by hundreds of people every week.
